Unlike purchasing other electronics gadgets, such as pocket digital camera. On purchasing digital SLR camera need extra consideration because buying digital SLR camera same as buying a system and not solely the body of camera only. The system I mean is like lenses, flash and the other accessories.

When you are buying the system then if you want to move to the other system you may cope with some problems of compatibility so do the cost, for instance if you have already Canon camera then you want to move to Nikon, consider that Canon lenses can not be use in Nikon camera except you are using special adapter, means you have to sell your Canon system before purchase Nikon System.

On the other side, you are also need to learn how to use Nikon camera because basically every brand of camera has their own differences in design, so you need extra careful for choosing digital SLR camera system.

Basically Canon EOS has complex digital SLR System, and has many types cameras and lenses for any purposes like those people who love photography or for professional one. Hence, Canon has complete collection of lenses and most sophisticate in world and shared with Nikon.

People knew that Nikon has strong influence in age of camera film but when the revolution of digital camera began, Nikon seems little late than Canon. Canon has lunched his full frame camera. However within last three years Nikon got success and able to fight with Canon by launched Nikon full frame camera let say Nikon D700 and Nikon D3X, beside it, Nikon also get successful by design many lenses and sell with cheaper price, except for professional lenses will be little expensive.

Sony

We may say that Sony is s new comer in world of digital SLR camera, but regard on the skill with Konica and Minolta on creating cameras and optics, Sony seem really ambitious, After buying Konica Minolta, Sony also collaborate with well known companies on creating lenses like Carl Zeiss. We may say that Sony digital SLR still left behind comparing other digital SLR camera like Nikon and Canon but Sony has full frame digital camera which prefer also by professional and amateur photographer. In addition Sony also launching its sophisticated lenses to compete with Canon and Nikon. Even now, Sony are able to integrated video and camera better than other.
