Choosing Brand for Digital SLR Camera (2)

After I write short description about three giants digital SLR cameras brand name, Canon, Nikon and Sony. Hence, I will describe briefly same brand name which arose with unpredictables technologies of digital SLR cameras, namely Olypus, Panasonic, Pentax, Samsung and Fujifilm.

Olympus

Nowdays, Olympus has two system camera, first is digital SLR camera four thirds (4/3) and the second is micro camera four thirds (4/3). Micro four thirds has no mirror or prism as well as SLR camera but it has used unfounded characteristics from other digital SLR camera, its has a big censor and enable to change the lens. The system of micro four thirds now has smaller lenses size than other digital SLR camera. The important aspect must be consider on 4/3 camera system namely the rasio size of image which different than conventional system, image produce by Olympus with rasio 4:3 not 3:2 makes the picture shapes unlike square

Panasonic

As we know that Panasonc has collaborate with Olympus 4/3, some types of Panasonic cameras like L1, less success in the market, but after Panasonic created micro 4/3, Panasonic camera in the market seems get increase, especially after the launching of Panasonic G1 and GH1 followed by its various smallest and lighter lenses.

Pentax

Pentax is one of the well known company in the age of camera film/analog, in which during its transition time, Pentax caught in the crisis and been sold to Hoya. When the first time Pentax entering digital world, Pentax being well known as the company with fully of innovation regarding on the launched of Pentax k10D which built in shake reduction technology and weather sealing more ever it sold in the market with reachable prices. On the other hand, pentax also develop lenses which optimize for digital SLR that sale in relative cheaper. Unfortunately, Pentax has not yet and planned to issue digital camera full frame, beside less of camera collection including lenses compare with Canon and Nikon.

Samsung

Samsung also once of well known brand name. For the first time on SLR business, Samsung work together with Pentax for creating electroncs components of camera. Next, Samsung also has great ambitions to mastering pocket size camera business and SLR Samsung also collaborate with Scneider and Pentax on creating lenses. Now, Samsung will launch new system as well as micro four thirds system that will labeled as Samsung NX

Fujifilm

Fujifilm ever collaborate with Nikon and ever launched some SLR camera, but Fujifilm use its own censor made by Fujifilm with its high dynamic range that ever be a favorite camera at those time, so this ability made digital fuji become well known among weeding photographers. However, time gone quckly, the competition of digital SLR camera has compatibility and same even better than fujifilm, Fujifilm decided for not discontinue to rely another digital SLR camera.
